The meeting place of determined examples
On August 20 in Hanoi, 25 outstanding disabled youth faces in 2025 were honored at the "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" program. These are individuals who do not give up adversity, constantly strive to study, work, contribute and spread the inspiration of a beautiful life to the community.
In parallel with the commendation ceremony, this year's program also expands the scope of support through the "Youth with Disabilities start-up" activity lasting from May to December 2025 to actively support young people with disabilities in starting a business. This is a new step forward, helping determined examples not only inspire the community, but also create opportunities for sustainable development for the whole society.
We can mention impressive individuals such as Tran Thi Mai Anh (Lao Cai), despite being severely disabled in mobility, founded Nhat Khue Cooperative specializing in the production and processing of agricultural products, creating jobs for many disabled workers. Meanwhile, Nguyen Thu Phuong (Hanoi) chose the direction of social entrepreneurship when building a CPFAV community with more than 18,000 followers, in order to implement many scholarship projects and livelihoods for young people with cerebral palsy.
For more than ten years, the program "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" has become a special meeting place, where stories overcoming fate are raised, touching millions of hearts.
Starting in 2013, when speaker Nick Vujicic - a global symbol of determination - first came to Vietnam, the program opened a journey to spread positive life values, encouraging the will to rise up among young people. This is also a clear affirmation that people with disabilities can completely take control of their lives, creating value for the community when they are given more confidence and opportunities.
TCP Vietnam joins hands to build a launching pad for disabled youth
Behind the success of "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" over the years, it is impossible not to mention the persistent support of TCP Vietnam. For TCP Vietnam, this is not only an activity demonstrating social responsibility, but also a long-term commitment to ignite the fire of determination, give opportunities and inspire the young generation of Vietnam to live beautifully.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy, General Director of TCP Vietnam Company shared: We believe that everyone - regardless of circumstances - deserves a chance to develop. Through the program "Shining Vietnamese Determination", we hope to spread the message of will to overcome difficulties, commitment and the ability to create positive contributions in the community, especially from young people with disabilities - those who have been inspiring through their journey".
Not only stopping at the role of a sponsor, TCP Vietnam has accompanied the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union with typical startup examples through many practical activities such as supporting capital for startup projects for young people with disabilities, connecting with a network of experts and social organizations to train skills, accompanying in the long-term development journey. These activities have contributed to turning "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" from an honor program into a real launching pad, opening up new opportunities for young people with determination and resilience.
Closing the honoring night, the emotional tears and bright smiles of the dedicated examples spoke to all: "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" is not only a story of the disabled community, but also a common source of energy for society to work together to create a Vietnam where no one is left behind. With the support of TCP Vietnam, that journey will be extended, adding strength for many dreams to take high flight wings.
"Shining Vietnamese Willpower" is a program in the focus of cooperation between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and TCP Vietnam Company. Starting to accompany the program since 2020, TCP Vietnam has always affirmed its long-term commitment to supporting determination and creating sustainable development opportunities for young people with disabilities, especially for individuals who are passionate about starting a business and have the ability to make a strong impact in the community.
