On September 11, the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee worked with the Steering Committee of the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the two years 2024-2025 (referred to as the Steering Committee) on the progress of the Campaign and the deployment of tasks in the coming time.
After nearly 5 months of implementing the Campaign, by September 10, 2024, the total budget received by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at 3 levels (province, district, commune) was more than 159 billion VND.
Some agencies and units have achieved high results in mobilization and support such as: Provincial Police (1.02 billion VND); Provincial Border Guard (628 million VND); Thanh Hoa Tax Department (393 million VND); Hong Duc University (340 million VND); Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (320 million VND); Provincial Party Committee Office (162 million VND)...
Some supporting enterprises achieved high results such as: Thanh Hoa Petroleum Company (5 billion VND); Central Joint Stock Corporation (200 million VND); Agribank Thanh Hoa Province Branch (200 million VND); Tien Son Group Joint Stock Company (160 million VND)...
From the received funding, the Steering Committee has prioritized support for 315 households in the resettlement program according to Project 4845 on arranging and stabilizing residents in areas at high risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous districts of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2021-2025 with an additional funding allocation of 10 - 40 million VND, depending on each specific household to allocate support, ensuring that each household is supported with 80 million VND to build new houses. The total funding from the Steering Committee is over 11 billion VND.
Priority is given to supporting housing construction for 537 households whose funding support list has been approved but have not yet built houses under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in 2024 in the province. The estimated support budget from the Provincial Steering Committee is over 11 billion VND.
From the funding source, by September 6, 2024, 16 districts, towns, and cities had started to build new and repair houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties. The total number is 422 houses, of which 372 were newly built and 50 were repaired...
According to Mr. Lai The Nguyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, after nearly 5 months of implementation, the campaign has received very positive responses from Party committees, authorities, sectors, business community, cadres, party members and people in the province; with the spirit of humanity, compassion, sharing and love.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee proposed to continue calling on organizations and businesses inside and outside the province to support; in early 2025, it is necessary to continue implementing the Campaign to mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, party members and people to contribute to the second round of support throughout the province.
