At the ceremony, authorized by the Director of An Giang Provincial Police, leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced decisions on the deployment of Phu Quoc Traffic Police Station organization and decisions to transfer Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Thanh to hold the position of Head of Phu Quoc Traffic Police Station.
Speaking to direct and assign tasks, Colonel Diep Van The, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police emphasized: "The establishment of Phu Quoc Traffic Police Station is an inevitable requirement, showing the close and timely attention and direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police for strategic key areas.
In the context of high vehicle density, increasing flow of people and tourists, and many complex factors regarding traffic order and safety, Phu Quoc Traffic Police Station needs to quickly stabilize its organization, build a united, disciplined, and responsible collective. Proactively grasp the situation, strengthen patrols and controls, and strictly handle violations, so as not to let traffic hotspots arise.
The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police requested the Phu Quoc Traffic Police force to promote propaganda and legal education on traffic order and safety. Build the image of a regular, friendly, civilized traffic police force, serving the people, meeting the requirements of ensuring safe traffic in the new development phase, especially effectively serving major political and foreign affairs events of the country in the coming time.

Immediately after the announcement ceremony, Phu Quoc Traffic Police force organized parades and patrols on some key roads of the special zone, showing serious mobilization, high political determination and the spirit of readiness to take on tasks, creating a positive impression among the people and tourists.
