Also on the morning of February 13, Van Chan district solemnly held the 2025 military enlistment ceremony to send off 200 new recruits to their duty of protecting the Fatherland with the participation of Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh.

In 2025, Van Chan district was assigned the target of calling 200 citizens to join the army, of which 165 citizens will perform military service and 35 citizens will perform police service.

Through the examinations, the district has completed the target of selecting citizens to join the army, ensuring the quantity and quality are higher than the previous year. With 100% of the new recruits meeting the requirements of political qualities, health and education level; of which 48 new recruits were party members before joining the army and 21 new recruits wrote a voluntary application to join the army.

It is known that in 2025, Yen Bai province was assigned the target of selecting 1,369 citizens, including 1,100 citizens participating in military service and 269 citizens participating in public security service.

The new recruits will be handed over to the receiving units including: General Staff of Military Region 2, Division 304, Division 316, Division 355, Brigade 297 of Military Region 2; General Staff, Border Guard Command, Office of the Investigation Police Agency - Ministry of Public Security, Guard Command, Mobile Police Command, Department of Police Management of Prisons, Compulsory Education Facilities - Reformatory School of the Ministry of Public Security.

More than 1,400 young people from Da Nang join the army

On the morning of February 13, districts in Da Nang city held a military enlistment ceremony in 2025, sending 1,444 young men off to join the army.

In Hai Chau district, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City attended the ceremony and saw off the new recruits. This year, Hai Chau district has 240 young people leaving to perform military service and public security service at units of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and Military Region 5.

According to the Da Nang City Military Command, in 2025 the city will select and call 1,100 citizens to join the army to perform military service at units under the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 5 and 344 citizens to join the army to perform public security service.

Of these, 1,130 citizens graduated from high school (accounting for 77.9%), 317 citizens with intermediate, college and university degrees (accounting for 21.9%), 12 party members, 5 employees and 7 pairs of brothers volunteered to join the army.

According to statistics, companies under the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) in Quang Ninh have more than 40 new recruits joining the army.

At Duong Huy Coal Company - TKV, in 2025, there are 5 workers who are qualified to perform military service. Notably, all 5 of these young men volunteered to join the army, some even registered before the recruitment directive.

Company leaders, unions and Military Command organized meetings to encourage new recruits and ensure full salary and bonus regimes.

Mr. Dao Trung Huy - Chairman of the Trade Union of Duong Huy Coal Company - TKV - said: During the time the company's workers perform military service, the company will support an additional 2 million VND each month until they are discharged, which is about 50 million VND. This amount will be transferred to the workers' savings account when they return to work at the company.

The company always prioritizes job placement according to the workers' wishes. But most of them decided to return to their old units and workshops where they had worked before joining the army.

In Hai Ha district, this recruitment campaign has 71 workers from Texhong Hai Ha Industrial Park leaving for military service.

In addition to the district's gifts, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the District Labor Federation and the District Military Command mobilized 57 million VND to give gifts to more than 190 new recruits in the district.

After being discharged from the army, they will be given priority in finding jobs according to their wishes. In other cases, the District Labor Federation will support vocational training and job referrals.

Over the years, workers have shown remarkable maturity after returning from military service, many of whom have been promoted to leadership and management positions.

On the morning of February 13, 13/13 districts, towns and cities of Quang Ninh province held military enlistment ceremonies. More than 2,190 outstanding young men left for military service.

The province has handed over 1,950 citizens to the following units: Air Defense - Air Force, Navy, Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command, Division 395 (Military Region 3), Brigade 454 (Military Region 3), Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command. 244 citizens joined the People's Public Security force.
