The Inspectorate of Hau Giang province has just issued an Inspection Conclusion on the inspection of the responsibility for implementing legal regulations on inspection; financial revenue and expenditure; construction investment; procurement, asset management; compensation, support and resettlement to implement investment projects for the Chairman of the People's Committee of Long My town.
According to the Conclusion, the Inspectorate of Hau Giang province pointed out shortcomings and limitations. In particular, the fields of financial management, budget and basic construction investment must recover and pay to the state budget a total amount of more than 747 million VND.
Regarding land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement, through inspection, the issuance of Land Acquisition Notices and Land Acquisition Decisions has cases where the subjects and actual land areas are not correct; the support for land improvement investment costs and pond digging costs still overlap in area and are not correct in subjects.
From the inspection results, the Chief Inspector of Hau Giang province recommended that the Chairman of the People's Committee of Long My town be responsible for collecting and submitting to the budget more than 747 million VND; correcting and overcoming the limitations and shortcomings of 9 units including: Economic Department, Education and Training Department, Urban Management Department, Culture and Information Department, Natural Resources and Environment Department, Finance - Planning Department, Town Investment Project Management Board, Town Land Fund Development Center and Town Inspectorate.
Chief Inspector of Hau Giang province also recommended that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assign the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units based on the nature and level of violations, and advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to consider the collective responsibility of the Long My town People's Committee and individuals in charge of relevant fields for the limitations and shortcomings during the inspection period accordingly.
