The Government Inspectorate has just issued document No. 1481/TTCP-KHTC to ministries, ministerial-level agencies; People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities; Government Cipher Committee.
The content of the document stated that on May 7, 2026, the Government Inspectorate issued document No. 1323/TTCP-KHTC requesting ministries, ministerial-level agencies, the Government Cipher Committee, inspection agencies established under international treaties (other inspection agencies) and People's Committees of provinces and cities to report on the results of inspection work, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation resolution and anti-corruption and negativity in May and accumulated for the first 5 months of 2026 on the Software System of databases on inspection work reports, complaint and denunciation resolution and anti-corruption and negativity (term before May 20, 2026).
By May 19, 2026, 3 Provincial People's Committees (Ca Mau, Nghe An, Dong Thap) and 2 other inspection agencies had fully updated the results of the May report, and some other units had updated data but not fully filled out forms.
To promptly develop reports to serve the leadership, direction, and administration of the Government, the Prime Minister and serve the regular Government Conference in May, the Inspector General of the Government requests Ministers, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities, and heads of other inspection agencies to submit reports on the software, ensuring complete forms and on time" - the Government Inspectorate's document clearly stated.
Previously, at the end of April, the Government Inspectorate said that regarding the results of the April work on professional work, the total number of inspections being carried out in the month was 31 inspections; 2 inspection conclusions were issued; 11 inspection results reports and draft inspection conclusions are being developed; 8 direct inspections are being carried out.
Thematic inspection assigned by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister, the Government Inspectorate sent 7 draft inspection conclusions of the Government Inspectorate to seek the Prime Minister's opinion on thematic inspection on preventing and combating wastefulness in the management and use of land and housing facilities.
Regarding thematic inspections of projects, difficulties, and obstacles, the Government Inspector General has issued a Decision to establish a Working Group to direct, inspect, and guide ministries, branches, and localities to conduct thematic inspections for difficult, obstacle, and prolonged backlog projects.
In April 2026, the Central Citizen Reception Board received 219 citizen visits to present 219 cases.
