Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 496 announcing the list of newly issued administrative procedures in the field of exams and admissions under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Department of Education and Training.
According to this decision, the newly announced administrative procedure is enrollment into boarding schools. This is a procedure under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province.
Regarding the implementation location, the receiving and result-returning agency is the Lang Son Provincial Public Administrative Service Center, at Da Tuong street, Luong Van Tri ward, Lang Son province.
The implementing agency includes the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committee of communes and boarding schools in the area.
People can carry out procedures in 3 forms including: submitting documents and receiving results directly; through public postal services; or submitting documents online through the National Public Service Portal.
According to PV's investigation, before being re-announced according to the new administrative procedures, enrollment into ethnic minority boarding schools in Lang Son is mainly carried out according to the education sector mechanism, with a receiving and result-returning focal point at the educational institution, not through the One-Stop Shop Department.
The announcement and updating of new administrative procedures in the field of exams and admissions is expected to contribute to standardizing the process of resolving dossiers, creating more convenience for students, parents and educational institutions in the process of implementing admissions in the province.
