Construction throughout Tet at a key project at Long Thanh airport
According to the plan, the Long Thanh airport project and connecting traffic routes will be put into operation in mid-2026. Therefore, to ensure progress, according to records at the Long Thanh airport project construction site (Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province), many contractors arranged construction forces throughout Tet to ensure project progress.
Package 5.10 - Long Thanh airport passenger terminal is of key significance in determining the overall progress of the entire project, maintaining about 1,000 personnel and machinery and equipment for construction throughout Tet.

Workers are arranged to work in rotation, ensuring salary, bonuses, and allowances according to regulations, and organizing spring welcoming activities on the spot. Construction contractor for connecting traffic routes races for progress
For transportation projects connecting Long Thanh airport, construction is also underway throughout Tet to put them into synchronous operation with the Long Thanh airport project.
At the Phuoc Khanh bridge construction site (belonging to the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway project), more than 100 engineers and workers are still stationed throughout Tet, working day and night. This is a key item of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh route, more than 57 km long, connecting with the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway, National Highway 51 and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, creating a strategic inter-regional traffic axis, reducing pressure on the Ho Chi Minh City area and shortening travel time between the Southeast and the Mekong Delta to Long Thanh airport.
Mr. Dang Huu Vi - Deputy Director of the Southern Expressway Management Board (Vietnam Expressway Development Investment Corporation - VEC) said that construction will be carried out throughout Tet to ensure the project completion progress in the third quarter of 2026.

Meanwhile, Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) is accelerating the construction pace throughout Tet at component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, determined to bring the project to completion soon.
The construction site operates continuously from December 27th to the end of January 7th (including peak days such as the 29th and the 1st day of Tet). The contractor mobilized 16 units of machinery and equipment and a standing workforce of 22 to 25 people to simultaneously deploy 3 construction teams in the Quan Thu bridge area, bridge 769 and construct the road section for foundation treatment, focusing on compacting the K98 top soil layer and spreading crushed stone grade.
According to the contractor representative, the main goal of the unit is to proactively accelerate progress beyond the plan. More importantly, maintaining the working pace throughout Tet aims to create positive momentum, helping the construction site immediately catch up and return to normal construction immediately after the holiday ends, avoiding sluggishness after Tet.
In addition, the projects connecting Long Thanh airport, although not organizing construction throughout Tet for a long time, have accelerated strongly before the holidays, and at the same time requested workers to return to the construction site soon after Tet.
