Maintain construction throughout Tet to catch up with work immediately after the holiday
On February 17, representatives of the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board said that Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) is accelerating the construction pace throughout Tet at component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, determined to bring the project to completion soon.
Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam - Project Director of CC1 - said: To speed up the progress and construction momentum of component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, we have planned to maintain operations throughout Tet. The construction site operates continuously from December 27th to the end of January 7th (including peak days such as the 29th and the 1st day of Tet).

Regarding the technical plan, the contractor simultaneously deployed 3 main construction teams including: No. 1: Focusing on completing the items of railings and heat joints in the Quan Thu Bridge area; No. 2: Construction of expansion joints, continuous heat joints and median strips at Bridge 769; No. 3: Construction of the road section processing the foundation, focusing on compacting the K98 top soil layer and spreading crushed stone grade.
Regarding management personnel, the Executive Board of CC1 arranges 24/7 on-duty forces including: 1 Project Director, 1 Commander and 2 Technical staff to closely supervise the quality of the project.
Regarding construction capacity, the contractor mobilized 16 units of machinery and equipment and a standing workforce of 22 to 25 people. All preparations have been completed to ensure smooth operation of the machinery throughout the holiday.
Also according to Mr. Lam, the main goal of the unit is to proactively accelerate progress beyond the plan. More importantly, maintaining the working pace throughout Tet aims to create positive momentum, helping the construction site immediately catch up and return to normal construction immediately after the holiday ends, avoiding sluggishness after Tet.
Caring for workers constructing throughout Tet
Understanding the silent sacrifice of engineers and workers when they have to be away from their families, the Board of Directors and the Executive Board have had special policies to encourage and support both materially and spiritually. We are committed to ensuring that all forces stick to the construction site of Component Project 1 both complete their tasks well and have a warm and complete Tet right at work," Mr. Lam added.

Previously, on the afternoon of February 16, leaders of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee visited, wished Tet, and encouraged the team of officials, engineers, and workers who are working during Tet at the construction site of component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway. At the construction site, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut acknowledged the responsible working spirit of the construction force during the Tet holidays, and emphasized the important significance of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project in regional linkage and promoting the province's socio-economy.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project is a key project with a total length of nearly 54 km, passing through Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City. In which, the section through Dong Nai province is more than 34 km long, and the section through Ho Chi Minh City is more than 19 km long.
When completed and put into operation, the project will contribute to reducing congestion on National Highway 51, while completing the transportation network of the Southern region, creating more favorable connection conditions between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, this expressway also plays an important role in effectively supporting the operation of Long Thanh airport in the coming time.
