Late on February 11, leaders of Xuan Huong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that on the evening of the same day, some people walking in the Ong Dao bridge area, Xuan Huong Lake discovered a body floating on the lake surface, so they reported it to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived at Xuan Huong Lake, deployed rescue work, and brought the victim's body ashore for investigation.
Sources said that the victim was identified as Ms. N.Q. D. G (26 years old, residing in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat).
Previously, at about 3 am on the same day, family members discovered Ms. G leaving the house, so they organized a search but found no trace. After that, the family reported to functional agencies for support and search assistance.
It is known that the victim just gave birth more than a month ago. Recently, she has shown abnormal signs, suspected to be due to postpartum depression.
Currently, the cause of the incident is being verified and clarified by functional agencies.
