At 7:30 a.m. on August 10, Hanoi City Police organized a program for the Festival for the Peaceful Capital at the King Ly Thai To Monument and Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hoan Kiem ward).
This is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2.9; 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security; 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
The program "Fest for the Peaceful Capital" harmoniously combines art performances with the two topics " Glory of 80 years of the Heroic Capital Police" and "Aspiration to contribute, for the Peaceful Capital" to review the team, mass parade and specialized equipment and means of Hanoi City Police.
The art performances have the participation of many famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, singer Ho Ngoc Ha, singer Toc Tien, singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, artists of the Vietnam Song and Dance Theater and officers and soldiers of the Capital Police, promising to bring impressive, touching and memorable experiences to the audience, arousing national pride and love for the Fatherland.
The special and impressive highlight of the program was the team approval and mass parade with the participation of nearly 3,000 officers and soldiers representing units under the Hanoi Police and the people of the capital; 245 specialized motor vehicles belonging to the professional forces of the City Police.
Along with that are the People's Public Security martial arts performances with high level and technique, demonstrating comprehensive combat capabilities, ready to respond to all situations of Hanoi City Police.
On the same evening, at My Dinh National Stadium, the political art program "Fatherland in the heart" will take place.
This is a key cultural and political activity, opening a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
With the message "Fatherland is not far away - Fatherland is in the hearts of everyone", the program promises to bring a profound emotional journey, connecting the heroic memories of the past with the aspiration to rise up of the present and the future.
The event stage is designed on a national and international scale, divided into 4 zones with meaningful messages: Independence, freedom, Happiness, Red Flag with yellow star.
The entire performance space is arranged in an V-shaped shape, 26m high, as a vivid declaration of the love and pride of each Vietnamese child for their homeland.
Closing the political art program "Fatherland in the heart" is an 8-minute fireworks display (from 10pm to 10pm) at the F1 - My Dinh racetrack, with 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks displays.
