An Giang - Due to the influence of the Southwest monsoon, the weather has turned bad, high waves and strong winds, so ship and ferry routes to the islands have temporarily stopped operating.

On the morning of August 25, information from Kien Giang Maritime Administration said that due to bad weather, ship and ferry routes to the islands of An Giang province temporarily stopped operating.

Due to the influence of the Southwest monsoon, worsening weather, high waves, and strong winds, to ensure safety and health for passengers, shipping lines requested temporary suspension of operations. Routes including Rach Gia to Nam Du, Lai Son, Phu Quoc and vice versa; Ha Tien to Phu Quoc, Tien Hai and vice versa, all temporarily suspended operations on August 25th pending further notice.

The operating schedule for tomorrow, August 26th, will be updated in the following news bulletins. For customers who have deposited or paid 100% of the ticket price, when the departure date comes but the train temporarily stops operating due to weather, the airline will refund the ticket price that customers have paid or exchange tickets to the next operating day.

According to the forecast of An Giang Hydrometeorological Station, the weather on the mainland of An Giang in the next 24 hours will have showers and scattered thunderstorms; intermittent sunny days; West to Southwest wind level 3, sometimes level 4. In thunderstorms, it is necessary to watch out for tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

The weather in the coastal area of An Giang in the next 24 hours will be cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places; intermittent sunny days; West to Southwest wind level 4, level 5; Wave height 0.75-2.00 m; lightly rough seas. In thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind level 6-7.
