On June 7, Hue Central Hospital said it had received 7 victims in the series of accidents that occurred on the evening of June 6 on the Hue City bypass, passing through Thuy Chau ward, Huong Thuy town.
Among the victims, a case of cerebral hemorrhage was transferred to the Neurosurgery Department for monitoring. Another patient with a ruptured bladder, a ruptured urethra, a complex rupture of the pelvic frame and duodenal hernia, was given emergency surgery. The remaining 5 cases are being monitored at the Emergency Department.
The hospital mobilized a surgical team to treat the most severe abdominal and pelvic damage, and closely monitor the health of the remaining cases.
Previously, on the evening of June 6, a serious traffic accident occurred at Km34+200, National Highway 1A (the route avoiding Hue City). Three passenger buses with license plates 37H-149.0X, 37H-148.8X and 43B-019.5X were traveling in the South - North direction when they collided. At the time of the accident, the three vehicles were carrying a total of 108 passengers.
