On the afternoon of August 20, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha chaired a meeting directly with departments, branches, the City Police and online to wards and communes to deploy a number of activities to serve the celebration of the 80th Anniversary, parade, and parade of the 8th lunar Revolution and National Day on September 2 (abbreviated as A80).
Reporting at the meeting, representatives of wards and communes said that they have plans and implemented tasks to be ready for activities taking place, including preparation, preliminary approval, rehearsal and the actual date of A80 ceremony.
Party Secretary and Chairman of the Long Bien Ward People's Council Nguyen Manh Ha said that the locality has made a plan to ensure safety in all situations for A80. In particular, with its location at the gateway to the capital, Long Bien is expected to have a large number of people passing through.
"Tasks under the direction of the city such as ensuring security and order, environmental safety and hygiene... have been specifically planned by the ward. In addition, Long Bien ward also plans to prepare support plans for people in difficult circumstances, veterans, meritorious people... when returning to the capital during the A80 holiday" - Mr. Ha said.
Meanwhile, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ho Ward Nguyen Dinh Khuyen said that in addition to ensuring the plan required by Hanoi City, Tay Ho is a locality with many attractive tourist destinations that will attract tourists, this is an opportunity to promote the image of the capital to tourists nationwide as well as internationally.
Representatives of departments, branches, the City Police, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Cau Giay and Hai Ba Trung wards also said that they have a specific plan to ensure the safety of A80, avoid traffic congestion, disorder, strictly control activities and assign the Youth Union to support people when returning to Hanoi.
Also reporting at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Dung said that she had informed the Fatherland Front Committees of 126 wards and communes to pay attention to difficult and vulnerable cases... to instruct people to attend A80 to ensure order.
Along with that, encourage families related to streets where parades and parades pass through or where many people support people when coming to Hanoi to attend the A80.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha emphasized that each locality needs to have additional plans to welcome and support people in localities to the capital. Along with that, develop plans to proactively handle situations arising in the area.

In particular, Ms. Vu Thu Ha requested that there should be absolutely no situation of "ripping off" tourists by any means, the situation of jostling and pushing as well as oppressing the elderly, children, veterans and meritorious people, war invalids.
A80 is an opportunity to promote the image of the friendly and hospitable capital to domestic and international people.
