Collecting and treating about 30 tons of garbage drifted to Thien Cam beach

Ha Tinh - After a week of launching, about 30 tons of garbage, mainly dry branches of wood drifting ashore at Thien Cam Tourist Area, have been collected and treated.

On September 13, the People's Committee of Thien Cam commune coordinated with the Center for Culture - Communication of Cam Xuyen area, Thien Cam Border Guard Station and restaurant and hotel establishments to mobilize more than 100 people to collect, classify and treat waste at the beach of Thien Cam tourist area.

Over the past week, the Center for Culture - Communication of Cam Xuyen region has also mobilized all staff to organize many working days to clean up nearly 20 tons of garbage on the coast of Thien Cam tourist area and handle it in accordance with regulations.

According to the staff of the Center for Culture - Communication of Cam Xuyen area, the garbage drifting ashore at Thien Cam Tourist Area has been basically cleaned up.

It is estimated that about 30 tons of garbage dumped after storm No. 5 have been collected, treated, and the landscape and clean environment for the tourist area here have been restored.

Affected by storm No. 5, garbage drifted into Ha Tinh beach in very large quantities. In recent days, the Youth Union of localities has coordinated with organizations and unions to focus on collecting and treating garbage at tourist beaches to ensure environmental landscapes.
