Apartment fire in Ho Chi Minh City at midnight, 8 people died

HCMC - A fire broke out on the ground floor of Doc Lap apartment building on Do Doc Long Street, Tan Son Nhi Ward (in the old Tan Phu District), initially determining that 8 people died.

By dawn on July 7, the functional forces of Tan Son Nhi ward coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate the cause of the fire at Doc Lap apartment building on Do Doc Long street, Tan Son Nhi ward (old Tan Phu district).

Previously, at around 10:00 p.m. on July 6, residents living at the above address heard many loud explosions with a burning smell, and when they checked, they discovered a fire inside the Doc Lap apartment building.

Witnessing the fire, a witness at the scene said that the smoke could only rush in to save people.

Recorded at the scene, there were people dead, the victim's identity has not been announced.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated and clarified.
