Responding to the movement of the entire population joining hands to protect the environment, participating in general environmental sanitation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has requested the provincial and municipal labor federations, central industry unions and equivalent, and the trade unions of corporations under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to proactively coordinate with the government to promote propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to actively participate in environmental protection and environmental sanitation in enterprises, factories, factories and surrounding environments.
Promote the supervisory role of union members, workers and trade unions in collecting, transporting and treating waste in the locality, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, promptly reflecting to the authorities on the shortcomings and inadequacies in environmental sanitation to take remedial measures, and recommending handling of violations that cause environmental pollution.
Coordinate with employers to launch emulation movements "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; "one-time plastic use", encourage union members and workers to " Say no to plastic waste" at supermarkets, schools, businesses, factories, and factories; promote the model of "Building a culture of safety at the workplace".
Coordinate with enterprises and grassroots trade unions to organize general environmental sanitation, collect, classify, and treat waste and plastic waste at home sources in enterprises, factories, and workshops to celebrate the days before, during, and after the 80th Anniversary of September 2.
