On September 28, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh and the working delegation inspected the Ho Chi Minh road section Cho Chu - Trung Son Intersection.
According to the report from the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, the site clearance work through Tuyen Quang province has handed over 16.18/16.74km; there is still a problem of 0.56km.

The section through Thai Nguyen has been handed over 12.19/12.24km; one household remains. Not to mention that 2.2km has been handed over but additional site clearance must be made due to design adjustments.
However, the arising site clearance budget increased by nearly 90 billion VND compared to the total approved level. The locality recommends that the Ministry of Construction and the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board consider and adjust additional items to ensure overall progress.
To date, the construction output of the Ho Chi Minh road project, Cho Chu - Trung Son intersection section, has reached nearly 29% of the contract value, 42.42% behind the project schedule.

To speed up the construction progress, the representative of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board suggested that Tuyen Quang focus on resolving problems and problems to complete all additional site clearance work in October 2025. At the same time, speed up the progress of resettlement area construction.
Inspecting Trung Son commune (Tuyen Quang), Minister Tran Hong Minh requested the contractor to focus on human resources, machinery and equipment, and "3 shifts, 4 teams" to compensate for the progress.
Strive to complete the project before December 31, 2025; complete the settlement in January 2026. At the same time, all project adjustment procedures must be completed before October 5, 2025.
Minister Tran Hong Minh emphasized that site clearance is of key significance, the Chu Market - Trung Son Intersection section is the last "piece" to be invested in and built to connect the entire Ho Chi Minh Road by the end of 2025. Tuyen Quang province needs to continue to care for and support people in resettlement, ensure stable lives, and create consensus in the project implementation process.
The Ho Chi Minh Road construction project, Cho Chu - Trung Son intersection section, has a total length of about 28.98km.
The section through Thai Nguyen province is about 11.51km; Tuyen Quang province is about 17.1km. The starting point of the project is in Cho Chu town (Km 245+878), the end point is at Trung Son intersection (Km 276+135.5).
The total area of land to be recovered is about 93.75ha. The cost of compensation and site clearance (GPMB) is nearly 420 billion VND. The total investment of the project is over 1,600 billion VND.
