In the early morning of September 29, the impact of storm No. 10 caused Nghe An to have two consecutive collapses, blowing off the roofs of houses and works, leaving 8 people stranded. The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police (Nghe An Provincial Police) quickly deployed forces to rescue all victims safely.
At about 2:55 a.m., at 159 Nguyen Phong Sac Street, Truong Vinh Ward, a level 4 house had its roof blown off, the barge fell down, 4 people were stuck, including 1 person injured. The police promptly cut the obstacles and brought 4 people out; the injured victim was transferred to the emergency room.
Then, 4 others were trapped at Gate No. 3, WHA Company, Trung Loc Commune, due to the collapsed corrugated iron roof and construction components. By 4:50 a.m., all were rescued safely and are currently being cared for at Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 8.
The two incidents occurred in complicated storm conditions, but Nghe An rescue forces deployed quickly and professionally, demonstrating a sense of responsibility for the people, limiting damage to people and property.
