On September 12, the Market Management Department (Market Management) of Ninh Binh province informed that Market Management Team No. 1 of the Provincial Market Management Department had just coordinated with the Working Group of Tam Diep Traffic Police Station, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police to inspect and discovered a car with license plate 36K-206.97 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong (address in Nguyet Vien ward, Thanh Hoa province), traveling in the direction from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa with suspicious signs.
During the inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle contained more than 570kg of pig skin, contained in 13 pineapple sacks, and had a phenomenon of water flowing and odor.
During the working process, Mr. Cuong could not present documents accompanying the goods, invoices, documents, certificates of origin, or any other documents related to all of the above goods. The value of the violating exhibits was determined to be more than 10 million VND.
The captain of Market Management Team No. 1 issued a decision to administratively sanction the business household owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, with the amount of administrative violation being 12 million VND. In addition, more than 570kg of the above pig skin was forced to be destroyed at the Ninh Binh solid waste treatment plant under the supervision of the inspection team and related parties.
