Implementing the Peak Plan on market inspection and control during the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival implemented by the Department of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT), the Market Management Teams in the city have proactively increased the work of grasping the situation, promptly detecting and handling acts of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods related to food, moon cakes and children's toys.
In particular, Market Management Team No. 11 - Hanoi Market Management Department has continuously discovered violations. On September 12 alone, this unit discovered 2 cases.
In the first case, Market Management Team No. 11 coordinated with Phu Luong Ward Police to conduct an inspection of a business household at address No. 40, Group 12, Trinh Luong, Phu Luong Ward, Hanoi, with Ms. B.T.T as the business owner.
At the time of inspection, the Inspection Team discovered and temporarily detained a total of 1,022 baked cakes, manufactured abroad, all of which did not have invoices or documents according to the provisions of law, did not ensure safe use, and could harm human health.
The total value of the infringing goods was VND 27,720,000. Market Management Team No. 11 has sealed all of the above goods for handling according to regulations, expected to fine 18,000,000 VND and destroy all of the violating goods.



On the same day, Market Management Team No. 11 also inspected a business household in the new urban area on both sides of Le Trong Tan Street, Duong Noi Ward, Hanoi City, owned by Ms. L.T.T.
Through inspection, this unit discovered and temporarily detained 120 YUEman DONGFANG 55g moon cakes, produced abroad.
All of the above goods are imported goods circulating on the market without accompanying invoices and documents, not in the same batch of type. Goods that are not safe to use and can harm human health are smuggled food.
The total value of the infringing goods was VND 8,400,000. Market Management Team No. 11 has sealed all of the above-mentioned violating goods, expected to fine VND 6,000,000 for trading in smuggled goods (food) and destroy all violating goods according to regulations.
"Skingking in smuggled moon cakes of unknown origin poses many potential risks to food safety, which can directly affect the health of consumers. In the coming time, we will continue to strengthen inspection, resolutely handle violations, and protect consumers," said a representative of Market Management Team No. 11.
