On the morning of August 19, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Thuan Hoa Ward People's Committee said that the locality is coordinating with functional agencies to verify the man showing signs of arbitrarily collecting parking fees against regulations in a public area.
After receiving feedback, we immediately coordinated to verify. Currently, functional agencies are looking for the man involved to work and handle if there are violations," said the leader of Thuan Hoa Ward People's Committee.
Previously, a female account on social networks reflected sending a car with relatives in the area near the museum at No. 7 Le Loi, Hue City.
According to reports, a man collected 2,000 VND for motorbikes and issued parking cards. However, there was no stamp or information on the card shown as issued by a competent authority.
The complainant said that he had encountered a similar case before but ignored it. This time, because the incident continued to occur and parking cards were issued, he posted information to warn.
The clip shared on social networks also recorded the scene of a man using inappropriate words during the incident.
Regarding the incident, the leader of Hue City Green Park Center said that the location of the incident was near the parking lot managed by the unit, but the man appearing in the clip was not an employee of the Center.
According to the Center's leaders, the unit's parking attendants all wear uniforms, name tags and collect money according to the listed price list.
People and tourists when coming to public areas, if they encounter cases of signs of illegal parking fees, should not coordinate, and immediately report to the nearest functional agency to ensure their rights," a representative of the Hue City Green Park Center recommended.
