On May 7, Xuyen Moc Commune People's Committee (HCMC) confirmed information that it had found an elderly man and an elderly woman suspected of getting lost in the forest in the area.
Previously, on the afternoon of May 6, Xuyen Moc Commune Police and functional forces organized a search for Mr. L.H. P (born in 1956) and Mrs. N.T. L (born in 1957) after receiving information from Mr. L.H. V about Mr. P and Mrs. L (Mr. V's biological parents) having left home on May 1, but only discovered the motorbikes of both in the Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu forest area (in Xuyen Moc commune).
On the evening of May 6, Xuyen Moc Commune Police coordinated with functional forces to find Mr. P in the forest and brought him home safely, in stable health. Through rapid interrogation, Mr. P said he went into the forest alone. However, functional forces still organized searches and discovered another old woman in the forest, but this person had died.
Currently, functional agencies are conducting verification and clarification, collecting information to resolve the case according to regulations.
