Previously, at 7 pm on April 25, Van Lang Commune Police received a report about V., daughter of Ms. Dang Thi L. (born 1982, residing in Nam Ca village) missing at about 3:30 pm on the same day.
During the above time, Ms. L. was doing housework, so she did not pay attention to baby V., when she discovered that her child was nowhere to be found, Ms. L. and her family searched but without results.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces organized a night-long search. Manpower was divided into teams to search streams, fields...
At 9 am on April 26, the task force searched at a location about 2km from Ms. L.'s house and discovered footprints of children and toys in the stream area.
Following the trail for about 200m, they discovered baby V. standing in the bushes, with many red spots on her body due to insect bites. Her health condition was basically stable, but the baby was terrified.
The working group conducted a preliminary health check, encouraged and fed baby V., drank water, milk, and then took her safely home to her family.
