On the afternoon of March 8, functional forces found the body of a boy suspected of drowning in the sea dyke area of Dong Hai ward, Khanh Hoa province after more than a day of searching.
Previously, on the morning of March 7, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 8 received a report from Dong Hai Ward Police about a victim suspected of drowning in the sea dyke area in the area.
Immediately after receiving the information, the unit dispatched 1 specialized vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy search and rescue operations.
Through initial verification, the victim was identified as Ng. Q. A. (born 2017, residing in Residential Group 14, Dong Hai Ward).
During the search, the Fire and Rescue Police force coordinated with Dong Hai Ward Police, Dong Hai Ward People's Committee, Special Forces No. 5, Volunteer Rescue Team 85 and local people to survey the sea area and embankment.
At about 3:25 pm on March 8, the forces found the baby's body.
Through the above incident, functional agencies recommend that families need to strengthen management and supervision of young children when playing in rivers, streams, ponds and beaches to prevent unfortunate drowning accidents.
