Information from Lach Ken Border Guard Station said that at about 7:15 pm on June 23, functional forces in coordination with people found the body of Nguyen Trong T (born 2013, residing in Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province) at Xuan Thanh beach, Tien Dien commune, about 100m from the shore.
Immediately after that, the victim's body was handed over to the family to organize burial according to local customs.
As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, at about 5:30 pm on June 22, people discovered the body of a man drifting onto Xuan Thanh beach.
Through verification, functional agencies identified the victim as Mr. Nguyen Trong P (born 1972, residing in Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province).
Receiving Mr. P's body, the family said that on the afternoon of June 22, Mr. P and his son, Nguyen Trong T, went swimming at Xuan Thanh beach and encountered an accident that killed their father and left their son missing.
After that, functional forces organized a search for baby T. After a day and night of searching, on the evening of June 23, baby T's body was found about 100m from the shore, where the father and son had previously swam and had an accident.
