On June 22, the Military Command of Pha Long commune said that functional forces had found the body of a drowning man on the Chay River after nearly 2 days of searching efforts.
Previously, at about 3 pm on June 19, the Military Command of Pha Long commune received a report from people in Vu Sa village about a drowning incident on the Chay River.

The victim was identified as Mr. Giang Min Phu (born 1963).
Immediately after receiving the information, the Military Command of the commune mobilized officers and soldiers of the militia to coordinate with the commune police, Pha Long Border Guard Station and local forces to organize search and rescue.
The search process encountered many difficulties because the accident area had deep water and fast flow.

At about 2:30 am on June 21, functional forces found the victim's body about 1.5km from the location of the incident and handed it over to the family to take care of the funeral according to local customs.
After the incident, the Military Command of Pha Long commune visited and encouraged the victim's family, supported 1 million VND, and coordinated with the local authorities to help the family organize the funeral.
