The forum named "The role of the press in promoting the tourism economy in Vietnam in 2026" will be held at 1:30 PM on May 22 at SunSpa Resort (Vo Nguyen Giap street, Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province). The event is co-chaired by leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee.
This is a key activity to concretize the Party and State's policy and implement it according to the direction of the Prime Minister at the working session with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on April 25.
The core objective of the forum is to promote tourism to become a driving force for economic growth, while improving the capacity to promote the national image.
The event is expected to create a strong connecting space between press agencies, state management agencies, localities and tourism businesses. From there, the parties will share experiences, identify new communication trends, propose solutions to promote destinations and promote digital transformation in the press-business-digital platform linkage.
