Within the framework of activities in response to Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, in order to recognize, honor and encourage trade union members - those who are dedicated to contributing to the development of units and schools, on May 25 and 26, 2026, in Hanoi City, the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD) organized the "Thank you workers" program and organized seminars with workers and scientists.
Accordingly, on May 25, 2026, a workshop with workers on "Rights and Responsibilities of Workers in the Mechanism of Innovation at Current Units" will take place. The workshop discusses the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of workers in the context of governance innovation and digital transformation; and is also a forum for workers to propose and suggest issues related to regimes, policies, working conditions to ensure the rights and improve the lives of workers; share about family circumstances, work, experiences to take care of families, obedient and studious children, difficulties and obstacles in work and life.
On May 26, 2026, outstanding scientists and workers attended the ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho and visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh. Also on the same day, a workshop with scientists on "Scientific research and technology transfer in the context of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW" took place. The workshop exchanged views on a number of issues of concern for scientists working at higher education institutions in implementing breakthrough tasks, developing science and technology according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW and issues of concern for scientists when implementing the Law on Science, Technology and Innovation in 2025. At the same time, the workshop also discussed "scientific publications in international journals at higher education institutions today.
In the afternoon of the same day, the program "Thank you workers" took place. At the program, the Vietnam Education Union will award Certificates of Merit to scientists; give gifts to 123 workers and outstanding scientists.
