Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Van Quan requested departments, branches, agencies and localities to seriously and fully implement the Official Dispatch content.
Accordingly, the Department of Finance coordinated with the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 6 branch, the City Police and People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to fully review the subjects receiving gifts, implement the giving of gifts promptly, safely, without missing or overlapping. The gift level is 100,000 VND/person, for all people to celebrate the National Day, to be completed before September 2, 2025. The form of gift giving can be transferred or given directly, ensuring that it is suitable for actual conditions.
The Department of Finance and the State Treasury of Region III guide and account for funds in accordance with regulations. The State Bank of Vietnam, Region 6 branch, directs commercial banks, especially those where the Treasury opens an account, to ensure a smooth payment system with enough cash for payment.
The People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones closely coordinate with the police force and related sectors to ensure the gift giving takes place quickly, safely and on schedule.
The city's press agencies will increase propaganda about this policy, creating an exciting and united atmosphere among the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
