On July 1, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that the unit had just issued Plan No. 560 on general inspection, review, detection, and handling of violations of laws related to food safety in the province.
According to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the plan aims to review, detect, and propose remedies for loopholes, shortcomings, and obstacles in mechanisms, policies, laws, and handling of violations of food safety. At the same time, clarify responsibilities and strictly handle violations in state management of food safety and hygiene.
Functional forces will focus on identifying and combating organizations and individuals violating regulations related to fake food, food of unknown origin, and poor quality food. This is to protect people's health, raise community awareness, and create a healthy business environment.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province requests that the implementation process must be drastic, according to the motto "clear goals - clear forces - clear results - countable", associated with the responsibility of the head. All violations must be handled in accordance with regulations, "no forbidden zones, no exceptions"; typical cases need to be publicized for deterrence and general prevention.
Regarding direction, the province will establish a provincial-level inter-sectoral Steering Committee headed by the Director of the Provincial Police; the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade as Standing Deputy Head. The Steering Committee will establish inter-sectoral working groups associated with the managed area, and at the same time establish a hotline to receive, classify information and unify handling methods.
Sectors and localities will review, classify, statistically, and make a list of organizations and individuals doing food business with signs of suspected violations. The review must be completed before July 5, 2026 and continue to be supplemented during the implementation process.
Key items include food, foodstuffs, functional foods, additives, preservatives. Key targets are import-export, processing, logistics, slaughtering, and online business establishments, social media accounts, and e-commerce platforms using AI or KOL/KOC for fraudulent advertising.
Key areas include communes and wards: Truong Vinh, Thanh Vinh, Vinh Phu, Vinh Hung, Vinh Loc, Cua Lo, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Do Luong, Tan Ky, Dai Dong, Van An, Thai Hoa, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Tan Mai, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Muong Xen, Que Phong, Nam Can; along with border areas, border gates, seaports, craft villages, wholesale markets, around schools, industrial parks.
Key traffic routes under control include National Highway 1A, 7A, 46, 48, Ho Chi Minh Road, border line, railway, air and waterway.
The inter-sectoral working group chaired by the Market Management force will conduct surprise and unscheduled inspections of key items, subjects, and areas showing signs of violations of food safety laws. When suspicious signs are detected, functional forces will inspect immediately, without waiting for the end of the review period.
The Provincial Steering Committee will directly inspect and post-inspect at hotspots; resolutely handle the responsibility of heads if reports are dishonest, violations are omitted or there are signs of protectionism.
