In order to restore traffic order and safety and prevent accident risks from the root, Da Nang traffic police forces in coordination with the police of communes and wards are simultaneously launching a general review of all trucks and semi-trailers with a tonnage of 15 tons or more. These are vehicles that are considered "monsters" if not strictly managed.
Implementation time: From now until the end of April 30, 2026.

Functional forces will "scrutin" every technical and legal detail of the vehicle. The focus of inspection includes:
Car body size: Detect and strictly handle acts of illegal expansion and conversion.
Vehicle identification: Check the condition of license plates (covered, fake) and the conversion to yellow license plates for transport business vehicles.
Technical standards: Handling the situation of arbitrarily "modifying" air horns and super bright lights that glare at pedestrians; checking the lifespan and legality of ownership transfer.
Monitoring technology: Strictly control the installation and maintenance of the operation of journey monitoring devices and cameras in accordance with regulations.
This increased control is expected to minimize serious traffic accidents related to heavy trucks, restoring safety to the gateway roads and inner city of Da Nang.
