Motorcyclist dies after hitting parked car in Hai Phong

    Hai Phong - The Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City has just informed about the accident that occurred on October 31, causing 1 death.

    Initial information, at around 5am on October 31, at km 12+900 of National Highway 10, through Kenh Giang commune, Thuy Nguyen district, a serious traffic accident occurred.

    At this time, a motorbike driven by Mr. V.N.T (born in 2001, residing in Minh Tan commune, Thuy Nguyen district) traveling from Gia bridge to Dong Son roundabout collided with a car driven by Mr. N.D.T (born in 1984, residing in Kenh Giang commune) that was parked.

    As a result, Mr. V.N.T was injured and taken to Thuy Nguyen District General Hospital for emergency treatment, and later died.

    The initial cause of the accident was determined to be the motorcyclist's inattention.

    According to the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City, in October, 42 traffic accidents occurred in the city, killing 15 people and injuring 35 others. Of these, traffic accidents caused by drivers not paying attention accounted for 50% of the total number of cases.
