On June 23, recorded at Lang Cha Ca roundabout (Tan Son Nhat ward), workers are urgently constructing renovation items, installing new symbols to complete in time according to the set schedule.

According to the design plan, the project is synchronously upgraded in architecture, landscape and lighting system. The highlight is a 5m diameter sphere made of stainless steel painted gray white, combined with images of Lac birds in reliefs curved along the bridge body made of copper-plated stainless steel.
The Lac bird symbol was chosen to express the aspiration to rise up, the spirit of solidarity and the national cultural identity.
In addition, the base is designed in a soft spiral shape, creating a modern shape, harmonizing with the urban space of the gateway area of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
In addition, the artistic lighting system is also synchronously invested with modern equipment, helping to honor the beauty of the building at night, creating more highlights for the public space serving people and tourists.

The project is an item under the project to renovate the landscape of the Tan Son Nhat airport gateway area according to the public-private partnership (PPP) method, a BT (build - transfer) contract type that does not require payment from the state budget.
The project aims to synchronously renovate technical infrastructure, architecture and urban landscape in the airport gateway area of Ho Chi Minh City in a modern, synchronous and highly recognizable direction.

Through the renovation of sidewalks, medians, overpass railings, combined with the addition of green trees, ornamental flowers and an art lighting system, the project is expected to create a new urban appearance, improve aesthetics and the efficiency of traffic infrastructure exploitation.
At the same time, the project also contributes to improving traffic safety, improving the quality of public space, developing green infrastructure and building the image of civilized and modern airport gateways of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the plan, the project is implemented on routes with a total length of about 7.5km, including the connecting route to terminal T3 (section from Cong Ly bridge through Nguyen Van Troi street to Phan Thuc Duyen), the overpass area to terminal T3, the connecting route to terminal T2 and the section through Hoang Van Thu park on Phan Dinh Giot, Tran Quoc Hoan, Hoang Van Thu, Truong Son routes and the symbolic structure at Lang Cha Ca roundabout.
