During the two peak days of April 29 and April 30, ticket prices at the new Eastern Bus Station will increase by a maximum of 40% for routes from Da Nang to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the Western provinces. In particular, ticket prices for routes from Hue to the North will remain the same as usual.
Although most of the routes have been transferred to the new Mien Dong Bus Station, according to Mr. Nguyen Phu Dat - Deputy Director of the old Mien Dong Bus Station (Binh Thanh District), the number of passengers traveling here is often higher due to convenient location in the inner city.
On the occasion of the death anniversary of Hung Vuong, the number of visitors through the wharf has no significant fluctuations, however, in case the demand increases suddenly, the wharf will coordinate with transport units to strengthen vehicles. During the peak of the ceremony 30.4 and 1.5, the number of passenger passengers is expected to reach 62,250 times, with the ticket price adjustment of not more than 40% in the two days 29 and 30.4.

Meanwhile, on the holidays of April 30 and May 1, passenger and vehicle output is expected to increase by more than 5% compared to last year.
The peak of the holiday falls on April 30, when the number of visitors leaving the wharf can reach 61,500 people/day, the number of vehicles reaching about 2,120 trips/day.
According to the representative of the Western Bus Station, the fare of Hung Vuong's death anniversary will be kept. However, in the peak days of the holiday season 30.4 and 1.5, the fare on the routes of the Mekong Delta region will adjust up to 40%. For the routes of the Central Highlands, Central and Northern regions, the price increase and the time of price increase will be applied according to the plan of the old Eastern Bus Station and the new Eastern Bus Station.
A representative of the Department of Public Transport said that they will closely monitor the traffic volume of passengers and vehicles on each route, promptly adjusting transportation plans to suit the actual situation. In particular, key routes will be prioritized to increase vehicles to quickly relieve passengers, avoiding congestion at bus stations.
In addition, the department will proactively coordinate with transport units to mobilize vehicles from routes with low passenger numbers, as well as mobilize vehicles from tourism passenger transport businesses, contract vehicles... to supplement routes with urgent needs.
To reduce congestion at traffic hotspots during the Hung Vuong Ancestor's Commemoration Day and the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Ho Chi Minh City Police will coordinate with relevant units to organize traffic flow and control in key areas such as Tan Son Nhat Airport, bus stations and gateway routes of the city. In particular, important expressways such as Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong will be closely monitored to ensure smooth traffic, reducing the risk of prolonged congestion.
