On September 15, Long Ha Commune People's Committee (Dong Nai city) issued a notice to find relatives for a newborn baby abandoned in front of a house in the commune.
According to Long Ha Commune People's Committee, the abandoned baby girl was discovered at about 11 pm on September 10 in front of the porch of Ms. T.T. T's house in Tan Long 6 village, Long Ha commune.
After discovering the child, people immediately reported to functional agencies. Upon receiving the news, Long Ha Commune People's Committee made a record confirming the situation of abandoned children.
At the time of discovery, the newborn baby girl was about 3 days old, about 55 cm tall, weighed about 3.1 kg, and had good and stable health. When discovered, the baby was wrapped in a red and white adult sunscreen towel and a handwritten letter.
In the content of the letter, the woman confided her difficult circumstances. In which, there is a passage stating that she was abandoned by her unfaithful husband when she was 4 months pregnant. When she gave birth to her child, she lived alone in a rented room and did not have enough conditions to raise the baby. "Alone, sometimes eating, sometimes fasting. I know abandoning my child is very wrong, but I cannot let my child fast with me. Please, grandparents, aunts and uncles, please pity this poor child" - the content of the letter wrote.

Currently, the baby is being voluntarily raised and cared for by Mr. D. D and his wife, Ms. T.D (permanently residing in Tan Long 6 village, Long Ha commune).
Long Ha Commune People's Committee said that the Commune People's Committee has posted information to find parents or relatives for the abandoned child. Within 7 days, if the child's parents or relatives do not come to claim it, Long Ha Commune People's Committee will carry out the next procedures, in accordance with regulations to ensure the rights and interests of children.
