This is the second gathering to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The atmosphere in front of Thong Nhat Hall (District 1) became bustling early, when people began to gather to "hunt" for the most favorable views.
Many people brought national flags, banners, flowers and even cameras to capture the special moment. Both sides of Le Duan Street were quickly packed with people waiting for the parade blocks to appear.

Not only standing to watch, many people also took the opportunity to take photos with the soldiers before the training session.
When the parade groups moved to the gathering area, cheers and applause rang out everywhere, creating an exciting and proud atmosphere.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Thuy (District 7) could not hide her emotions: Seeing the photos online was emotional, but only when I saw them with my own eyes did I feel full of pride. The bustling atmosphere like the whole nation is joining in the beat towards the big festival".

From 9:00 p.m. on April 22 to the early morning of April 23, more than 10,000 people from armed forces such as the army, police, militia and representatives of all classes of people will participate in the training session on Le Duan Street.
To ensure order and safety, Ho Chi Minh City has banned traffic on many routes from 5:30 p.m. on April 22 to 1:00 a.m. the next morning.

According to the plan, after this training session, the forces will continue to conduct the preliminary review on April 25 and the state-level general review on the morning of April 27, also on Le Duan Street.
The official parade and parade ceremony will take place at the morning of April 30. The parade will depart from the Nguyen Binh Khiem - Le Duan intersection, passing through the main stand in front of Thong Nhat Hall.
The parade and march on April 30 will be attended by 4 groups of officials, 36 groups of parades, and 12 groups of parades. In addition, there were also parade groups of the Chinese, Lao and Cambodian armies.
