On December 24, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that they had just announced the search for the victim related to the discovery of the body of a newborn baby at the Dong Nam landfill (in Dong Nam commune, Dong Son district, Thanh Hoa province).
According to the announcement of Thanh Hoa Police, at around 9:00 a.m. on December 21, at the Dong Nam landfill, the excavator driver discovered the body of a newborn girl, about 5 to 7 days old (determined to have been born between December 8 and December 20), weighing 3.5 kg, 54 cm long, normal physical condition (no deformities), not wearing clothes.
In order to serve the investigation, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police announced to coordinate and detect information related to the body of a newborn with the above characteristics. People are requested to proactively provide and report immediately to the nearest police agency, local authorities or exchange via phone numbers 02373.725.725 - Provincial Police hotline.
At around 9:00 a.m. on December 21, Mr. N.T.V. (52 years old, residing in Dong Tho ward, Thanh Hoa city) was driving an excavator, leveling trash at the No. 3 landfill, Dong Nam landfill, when he discovered the body of a newborn baby girl without any clothes. Mr. V. reported to the authorities. After receiving the information, Dong Son District Police coordinated with Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and professional units to examine the scene and perform a forensic autopsy.
Through the camera system, it is shown that from 4am to 9am on December 21, 23 garbage trucks entered the dump site. Of these, 12 trucks dumped garbage in compartment 1, and 11 trucks dumped garbage in compartments 3 and 4. These trucks may be related to transporting the body of the newborn baby.
