Although half of it has been completed and put into use since 2021, the remaining part of the Technical Infrastructure Project in the Southeast area of Hoa Cam intersection (Cam Le district, Da Nang) is still inactively built, causing local people to be upset.
For many years, people in the area of 38 Nguyen Nhan (Group 24, Hoa Tho Dong Ward) have been waiting for the remaining part of the Technical Infrastructure Project in the Southeast area of Hoa Cam intersection to be restarted. Meanwhile, the area of Group 25 ( Behind the Cam Le Tax Department) belonging to the same project has been completed and put into use since June 2021.
According to the official response from the Management Board of the DTXD Project Management Board of Da Nang Civil, Industrial and Infrastructure Works (Management Board), the project at lot 38 Nguyen Nhan must be temporarily suspended to adjust the investment policy.
The project dossier has been transferred from the People's Committee of Cam Le District, the Department of Planning and Investment, the People's Committee of the city, to the Party Committee of the City People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee since the beginning of 2023. However, the leaders of Da Nang City requested that this process clarify the core issues before making a final decision. According to the direction of the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee has requested relevant units to go into depth in clarifying the causes and investigating the responsibilities of relevant agencies and individuals in the delay in project implementation. At the same time, clarify the determination of compensation and site clearance costs arising from the project's prolongation. In addition, the land legality of households in the project area must also be carefully reviewed.
Therefore, the Management Board and the People's Committee of Cam Le District have issued explanatory reports and held a review meeting to provide information to the city leaders. Most recently, related reports and notices continued to be issued until early 2025 to clarify the above contents. The Management Board said that it is currently closely coordinating with the People's Committee of Cam Le District to continue monitoring the direction of the City People's Committee. This unit also affirmed that it will urgently implement the next steps immediately after the official decision from the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee.
