According to the report on the situation and results of the law on practicing thrift and combating waste in the first 6 months of 2025, the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the city always focuses on the management and use of land and resources in a cost-effective and economical manner.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued documents directing and implementing many solutions to strengthen land management and exploitation: Decision No. 35/2025/QD-UBND dated May 26, 2025 promulgating economic and technical norms to prepare State budget estimates to serve land valuation in the city;
Official dispatch No. 1617/UBND-SNNMT dated March 20, 2025 directing the People's Committees of districts to establish a Land Use Plan for 2025.
Da Nang City has gradually put the land data system into use and management, exploiting it effectively at a 100% update rate, implementing procedures for auctioning land use rights including 13 land plots.
Approved the list of land use rights auctions for 140 residential land lots in Official Dispatch No. 1009/UBND-DTDT dated March 7, 2023, auctioned into 42/74 land lots with a total land use fee of VND 223.066 billion.
For land lots that have not approved starting prices, the City People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 3219/UBND-DTDT dated May 29, 2025, directing the People's Committees of districts to urgently complete procedures for approving starting prices to auction land use rights for land lots in the area, according to their authority.
Up to now, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has approved the land use right price plan for 15 land plots, and is implementing the auction of land use rights for 13/15 land plots.
Regarding the situation of short-term land lease according to Decree No. 102/2024/ND-CP dated July 30, 2024 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law: The People's Committee of Da Nang City issued Official Dispatch No. 191/UBND-STNMT dated January 10, 2025, assigning the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to direct the City Land Fund Development Center to implement short-term land lease according to Article 43 of Decree No. 102/2024/ND-CP dated July 30, 2024 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law.
Issue Decision No. 789/QD-UBND dated March 14, 2025 on approving the starting price for short-term land rental to organize Son Tra night market at the land plot: A2-4 and A2-5 of the road leading to Dragon Bridge in the Son Tra District Administrative Center area (An Hai Nam Ward).
Up to now, Da Nang City has successfully implemented the Son Tra Night Market Land Area with a rental price of 3.066 billion VND/year.
In the first 6 months of 2025, Da Nang City has approved the list of land plots and plots for short-term lease in the city, successfully selected 10 organizations and individuals to lease land for 16 plots of land (phase 1 is 11 plots of land, phase 2 is 05 plots of land) with a total rental price of VND 12.832 billion/year.
