According to Loc Binh Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise, in recent days, moderate to heavy rain has appeared in the province, with very heavy rain in some places, increasing the amount of water flowing into the reservoir.
Implementing the reservoir operation process and ensuring the safety of the project, the management unit will open a deep spillway gate from 7 pm on August 22. The expected discharge flow is about 214.6 m3/s.
During the time the spillway gate is operating, the water level downstream of Ban Lai Lake may change. Local authorities, functional agencies and people in the affected area are requested to proactively implement response measures to ensure safety of life and property.
People need to follow the announcements of functional agencies, limit travel, fishing or carry out activities on rivers, streams and areas with strong currents when the reservoir discharges for regulation.
