On August 20, information from the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, Tay Ninh province, said that it had issued a document recommending organizations and individuals not to arbitrarily organize tourism services and business within the forest area without permission from the forest owner.
This move was made in the context that recently on Ba Den Mountain, there has been a situation where some organizations and individuals arbitrarily promote, receive registrations and lead delegations to perform mountain climbing, forest exploration, and paid camping activities in areas and tourist routes that are not allowed.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, adventurous and spontaneous activities not only pose a risk of unsafety for tourists but also negatively impact forest protection and nature conservation. Notably, when incidents occur, activities outside the permitted scope also cause many difficulties for rescue and relief work.
The Management Board affirmed that the unit does not organize, does not associate and does not coordinate with any party to provide illegal trekking and camping services. Functional forces will strengthen inspection, prepare dossiers and strictly handle violations according to Decree No. 146/2026/ND-CP dated May 6, 2026 of the Government on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of forestry.
The act of organizing sightseeing and tourism in the forest without permission from the forest owner may be fined from 4-6 million VND. Meanwhile, the act of arbitrarily doing tourism service business in the forest is fined from 6-10 million VND.

Ba Den Mountain is known as the "roof" of the Southern region, 986m high, famous for its natural landscape and spiritual cultural space, attracting millions of visitors each year.
