Continuing the journey to bring the movie "Red Rain" to more than 1 million viewers, the Television Service Center (TV360), Viettel Telecom Corporation (Viettel Telecom) in coordination with the Cinema Department deployed the Film Promotion Program to celebrate major holidays April 30, May 1, May 7, May 19, May 2026 nationwide. The highlight of the program is the free screening, expanding the ability to access history to a large audience.
Touching history from very ordinary things
Opening the film series is "Địa đạo: Mặt trời trong bóng tối" - a work that premiered nationwide in 2025 with a revenue of about 170 billion VND - inspired by the land tunnel system during the resistance war, honoring the historical value and steadfast will of Vietnamese people in extreme circumstances.

Not following the rigid reenactment of history, the film chooses a closer way of telling: focusing on specific people, very real slices of life underground - from daily life, comradeship to family bonds. These details create emotional depth, helping history no longer be distant numbers or events, but become a story that can be felt and empathetic to.
This is also a suitable approach for young audiences - a group of audiences who not only want to "know" but also want to "feel" history in their own way.
From community space to personal experience
The program takes place from April 25 to May 31, 2026, opening at 7:30 PM on April 25 at Quang Ninh Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, with exchange activities with the crew and actors.

The difference of this year's film series lies in the multi-platform deployment model:
- Organizing mobile film screenings in 34 provinces and cities across the country
- Free streaming release from the TV360 digital platform
This combination creates two parallel layers of experience: a common viewing space in the community - a place to evoke collective emotions and personal experiences on mobile devices - where viewers can access content anytime, anywhere.
Thanks to that, geographical distance is no longer a barrier. Whether in urban areas or remote areas, audiences can access the film in the most suitable way for themselves.
TV360 – bringing history closer, in a more accessible way
Without complex forms of propaganda, cinema is proving a more effective approach to history: for the audience to watch, feel and form their own perspective.
In that journey, TV360 not only plays the role of a distribution platform, but also an expanding "access space" for cinematic works. From mobile screenings to digital platforms, content is brought closer to each individual, in a flexible and convenient way.
Organizing free general screenings of "The Tunnels: Sun in the Dark" nationwide not only helps spread the value of the film, but also contributes to shaping a new habit: accessing history through digital experiences - where each person can connect with the past in their own way.
