According to initial information, at about 9:30 am on September 5, a railway accident occurred on the North - South line, passing through Hiep Binh ward, Ho Chi Minh City, killing one person.
At that time, train SE6 was moving towards Saigon station. When the train just passed Go Dua bridge about 200m, belonging to Hiep Binh ward, a collision occurred with a pedestrian crossing the railway tracks. The collision killed the victim. After the incident, the train had to stop to serve handling work.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces of Hiep Binh ward coordinated with traffic police to be present at the scene, blockade the area, regulate traffic and handle the incident.
To serve the scene examination, the road section parallel to Pham Van Dong street, the section from Go Dua bridge to Hiep Binh intersection, is temporarily blocked.
Motorbikes are regulated into the car lane on Pham Van Dong street to continue moving, limiting congestion.
At 10:30 am on the same day, the ship continued its journey, while functional forces still blockaded the accident area to serve the examination and investigation.
