By the afternoon of November 1, Binh Chanh District Police had completed handling the scene of a series of accidents between two motorbikes and a tanker truck that occurred on Tran Dai Nghia Street (section through Le Minh Xuan Commune bordering Tan Nhut Commune) that left two people injured and dead.
Initial information, around 12 noon the same day, people heard a loud noise on Tran Dai Nghia street near Kenh C bridge (Binh Chanh district), then saw a series of accidents between a tanker truck with a HCMC license plate and 2 motorbikes with Tien Giang province license plates.
As a result, the accident caused 3 people on 2 motorbikes to fall onto the road. Among them, a man about 30 years old died on the spot. Another man was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment. The young girl was lucky to escape.
According to the scene, the road where the accident occurred was under construction. According to local residents, the construction workers were taking a lunch break at the time of the accident.
Due to construction, a part of Tran Dai Nghia Street has been cordoned off and iron bars placed as warning barriers for road users. Vehicles travel in the same direction on the remaining part of the street.
Upon receiving the report, Binh Chanh District Police arrived at the scene, took statements from those involved, and extracted security cameras around the area to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
