On September 21, according to information from the People's Committee of Dak Cam ward, Quang Ngai province, the police agency is investigating and clarifying the cause of a serious accident that occurred in the area.
At about 4:50 pm on September 20, at Km 1543+050 on National Highway 14, in Dak Cam ward, a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a car.
At this time, a motorbike with license plate 82H1-131.74 driven by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen (27 years old), residing in Kon Trang Kla village, Dak Ha commune, Quang Ngai province, carrying Nguyen Thi Bich Hau (24 years old) and child T.M.D (2 years old), both residing in Dak Ha commune, was traveling on National Highway 14 in the direction of Dak Cam ward to Dak Ha commune.
When arriving at the above area, a collision occurred between a motorbike and a car with license plate 82B-016.43 driven by Ms. Ha Thi Hanh (43 years old), residing in Kon Tum ward, Quang Ngai province, traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident killed Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen on the spot; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hau suffered a broken left femur and was taken to Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital, facility 2 for emergency treatment.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated and clarified.
