On September 22, news from Nha Trang Ward Police said that they had notified and invited the owner of Dr.Juice Nha Trang restaurant and the representative of an Indian tourist to work related to the incident at the restaurant.
Previously, an Indian tourist used juice at Dr.Juice Nha Trang but did not agree to pay after claiming that the drink showed signs of mold.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Dao Xuan Truong - Head of Nha Trang Ward Police - confirmed that the police agency has grasped the case of a dispute between an Indian tourist and the owner of Dr.Juice restaurant.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Dao Xuan Truong, the police will invite relevant parties, including the person accompanying the tourist and the juice shop owner, to work to verify and resolve the case.
Previously, Mr. Tue Van - owner of Dr.Juice Nha Trang - shared on social networks about an incident related to an Indian tourist using juice at the shop but disagreeing to pay after claiming that the drink showed signs of mold.
According to the shop owner, the shop staff explained to the tourist that the white foam appearing in the glass of water is a phenomenon that may appear after the fruit is pressed, not a sign of mold.
However, the customer still claimed that the white foam in the glass of water was a sign of mold, not ensuring safety and continued to request the restaurant to refund the money.
Currently, Nha Trang Ward Police have invited relevant people to work to verify the content of the case.
