On August 12, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, inspected and worked with departments and branches on the progress of two key projects, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 and the renovation of Tham Luong - Ben Cat - Nuoc Len canal. He requested that units make efforts to speed up progress, but at the same time emphasized that "quality must be put first".

After directly inspecting the field, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi highly appreciated the efforts of the units. However, he requested departments and branches to proactively propose solutions to difficulties and problems to promptly resolve them. The Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City also said that there will soon be a session to explain and propose amendments and supplements to Resolution 98 of the National Assembly to suit the actual situation after the merger of localities. This is to remove bottlenecks in mechanisms and policies, creating more favorable conditions for localities in project implementation.

At the Tham Luong - Ben Cat - Nuoc Len canal infrastructure construction and environmental improvement project, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, Mr. Dau An Phuc, reported that the project has a total investment of more than VND 9,030 billion, with the goal of preventing flooding and urban beautification. Currently, the project has reached a yield of 53.03%.
However, the project is facing many difficulties in terms of site clearance (there are still 14 cases that have not been handed over), construction materials and legality of the mud dump. It is expected that on September 2, the project will open to traffic for about 9.7 km, bringing the total length of the open sections to more than 15 km.

Meanwhile, at the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project (the section through Pham Van Hai commune, formerly Binh Chanh district), Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, Mr. Luong Minh Phuc, said that the project has completed 100% of site clearance and achieved a construction output of about 50%.
He also affirmed that the supply of construction materials is now fully guaranteed. The project is expected to open to technical traffic at the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway intersection on August 19 and to technical traffic on the Ring Road 3 main route of about 24.1 km on December 31. Striving to open the entire route by June 30, 2026.
