As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at about 3:30 pm on April 6, a 28-seater passenger car with license plate 86H-045.61 carrying people diving to catch clams, traveling on DT. 715 road section km16+300 through Hong Lam village, Hoa Thang commune (Lam Dong province) crashed into a broken sign and guardrail, then plunged straight into a roadside abyss and overturned.
This location is a curved bend, a cliff about 4m deep. Local people have supported taking the injured to the emergency room. At the scene, 3 people died on the spot. Later, 1 person died on the way to the emergency room.
The passenger car was driven by driver Tran Thanh Son (born 1988, residing in Phan Ri Cua commune). The registration period of the passenger car is until April 23, 2026. The most recent inspection of this car was on January 24, 2026.
It is known that in the accident there were 3 siblings in a family. Among them, 2 people died and 1 person was injured.
