On August 18, Van Chan Commune People's Committee sent letters of thanks to the Golden Heart Charity Fund, Lao Cai Provincial Inspectorate and Huu Nghi 103 General Hospital.
This move was implemented after the program to support housing construction costs for poor households and households in particularly difficult circumstances in the area.
Previously, on August 12, the Inspectorate of Lao Cai province coordinated with the Golden Heart Charity Fund, Huu Nghi 103 General Hospital and the Party Committee and government of Van Chan commune to organize the handover of support funds to 4 households, each household 60 million VND, with a total budget of 240 million VND.
The supported households include Ms. Do Thi Thanh Loan in Suoi Bu village; Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen in Hoa Ban village; Mr. Ly Van Man in Cau Nhi village and Ms. Ha Thi Doi in Son Thinh village.
These are all families in difficult circumstances, including households living in dilapidated houses that do not ensure safety.
The support funds help families have more conditions to repair and build houses.
For the poor, a solid roof not only helps ensure safety but also creates a support to stabilize life. From there, households can feel secure in working, developing the economy and gradually rising up.
After the program, Van Chan Commune People's Committee sent a letter of thanks to the units for their concern and companionship with the locality.

In the letter, the Commune People's Committee expressed its appreciation for the affection and responsibility of the units towards those in difficult circumstances in the area.
According to local authorities, the support is of practical value, helping 4 households have more conditions to stabilize their accommodation. This is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding faith for families to overcome difficulties.
The locality wishes to continue to receive the attention and companionship of agencies, units, businesses, organizations and philanthropists in social security work.
